For Organizations – workplace concierge

Almost 3 years have passed since the world was turned upside down. Given the ultimatum “go remote or die”, organizations became virtual overnight, and a new world of work was born.

30 months later, organizations look and feel lost in this new world – still debating the merits of remote work, leasing offices that go unused and investing in employee tools, training and perks that don’t move the needle.

Organizations are operating in this new world but far from thriving in it. And until now, they’ve been shielded by the consequences of their inaction. However, harsh economic conditions are finally pulling back the curtain, and the view isn’t pretty.

Firms must now find ways to quickly reduce burn and increase performance, or die. This is no mean feat, but it’s even more daunting considering how isolated, burnt out, and disengaged employees are today. Mass layoffs don’t help, and are, at best, a temporary solution to the existential problems plaguing the modern workplace.

What happens when the dust settles? How do firms thrive in the new world of work?

This is the $1T question, and we believe we have the answer.

To thrive in this new world, firms must be able to operate primarily virtually but “materialize physically on command”, quickly assembling anywhere across the globe in a fashion that drives creativity, collaboration and culture.

Our thesis is shared by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz of a16z, founders of the world’s premiere venture capital firm.

In the old world, a16z were a single office firm. Now, their headquarters are in the cloud.

a16z are taking money they would have spent on real estate and instead spending it on travel and off-sites, which they host for employees every 6-8 weeks. Marc says this is where real bonding can happen, over hikes, long dinners, and parties on the beach. It charges the firm up with the social bonding it needs to thrive remotely. When the team starts to feel isolated and frayed, it brings everybody back together to reignite that unique sense of community and group cohesion.

Sounds great, right? The problem is very few businesses can do this today, and even fewer can do it consistently well or sustainably.

But we’ve found it’s not for lack of appetite. In fact, firms want to adopt a new operating model (in spirit) but lack the infrastructure, expertise, and resources to execute (in practice) – traditional event-community functions are expensive, coordination overhead is through the roof, and workplace tools simply aren’t enough to fulfil the needs of the modern-day workforce.

Organizations are desperate for a blueprint for the modern workplace, they just don’t have what it takes to build their own. So, we’re opening up ours to the world at large.

Everyday Entrepreneur (EE) is the world’s first workplace concierge.

We’re a holistic workplace platform where you can access the cutting-edge experiences, talent, training and tools you need to thrive in the modern world of work.

The only question that remains is: will your team walk through it?

For Individuals

With company headquarters in the cloud, professionals will now spend almost all their working lives outside a traditional workplace.

It doesn’t matter where professionals work. What matters is how they’ll access experiences, relationships, and conversations capable of changing their life.

Everyday Entrepreneur (EE) is the answer to this difficult challenge.

EE is the world’s first workplace concierge. Think of us as the one-stop shop for your most pressing professional and personal needs.

Our membership gives you access to our world of people, ideas, opportunities, and tools capable of taking you to the next level.

We’ve spent the last two years in private beta, refining our product with 650 of the world’s top professionals. Equipped with their insights, feedback, and rave reviews, we’re ready to take EE public.

Now, we’ll take questions.

Why did you build this? Life is a game, but we realized there was no place dedicated to learning how to play it. University is pricey and doesn’t last. Membership clubs can be cool but don’t advance any of your actual needs. We wanted a space dedicated to mastering the greatest game we will ever play.

If I join, what do I get? Access the entire world of EE – cutting-edge content, conversation, training, services, and experiences, as well as our global Rolodex of members, advisors and customers, who provide friendship, inspiration, introductions, and a healthy dose of accountability depending on your needs.

What’s the value exchange? You’re hiring us to level up. We’re hiring you to do the work you’re capable of by leveraging the infrastructure we’ve built. EE is an accelerant for the work you must do and the life you must live. We’re your seed capital.

How do I join? Sign up here for one of our membership tiers. Each emphasizes a different part of our ecosystem – travel, literacy, hospitality and business. We only provide annual plans because our work takes time to have an impact. We encourage you to consider the reward 5 years from now instead of 1. EE’s value compounds. The annual commitment signifies that you’re investing in your future and, therefore, ours.

In summary: EE helps you see and become who you were meant to be. We’re here to build your best you.
