PRIVACY POLICY // BY EVERYDAY

Your privacy matters to Everyday Capital Ventures LLC (DBA Everyday LLC) and its subsidiaries: Everyday Advisor, Everyday Content, Everyday Hospitality, and Everyday Travel (collectively, “Everyday,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you have regarding your data. By using any Everyday product or service, you agree to the terms outlined below and in our Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use Everyday’s services.

1. Who We Are & What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all products and services offered by Everyday, including:

  • Everyday Advisor (strategy and research)

  • Everyday Content (media and storytelling)

  • Everyday Hospitality (data and analytics)

  • Everyday Travel (event curation and production)

  • everydayco.us, (letters and private archives)

It covers both:

  • Personal Data (information that identifies or can identify an individual), and

  • Client Data (data you provide to us through your engagements), as well as

  • Guest Data (data provided by your technology systems and vendors)

2. Data We Collect

Everyday collects only the information necessary to operate our services.

2.1. Personal Information You Provide

This includes:

  • Name, email, phone number, organization

  • Account login data

  • Billing details (via Stripe only; we never see full card numbers)

  • Travel registration information (dietary restrictions, preferences, optional emergency contacts)

  • Content or files you upload to Advisor or Content engagements

  • Communications with Everyday (email, messages, forms, surveys)

2.2. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit everydayco.us or use our platforms, we may collect:

  • IP address

  • Device type and browser

  • Pages viewed, time on site, referring URL

  • Cookies, pixels, and analytics data

  • Log files and metadata

2.3. Advisory & Content Client Data

Clients may share confidential materials such as:

  • Internal strategy documents

  • Transcripts, recordings, memos, drafts

  • Creative briefs or private data

  • Uploaded files or notes

  • Proprietary internal resources

We do not use any client data for AI training, LLM fine-tuning, or algorithmic modelling.

2.4. Hospitality Client & Guest Data

Hospitality clients may grant us access to reservations, private events, POS, loyalty, CRM, or marketing platforms. This produces two types of data:

Raw Data (Client Owned)

Examples include:

  • Reservation records

  • Guest names and emails

  • Visit history

  • Spend, frequency, order details

  • Event participation

Derived Data (Everyday Owned)

Examples include:

  • Cleaned and enriched data

  • Tags, segments, scoring

  • Enriched attributes (e.g. email, phone)

  • Benchmarks, insights, models

  • Custom lists, dashboards

After contract termination, Everyday may retain only de-identified, aggregated data to improve benchmarks, scoring, and modelling.This data never identifies you or your guests. We use aggregated or de-identified guest data that no longer identifies a particular individual (and is thus no longer personal data) to help answer important questions about hospitality businesses and further explore what optimal performance looks like.

2.5. Travel Registration Data

If you attend an Everyday retreat, we collect:

  • Registration info

  • Payment information (via Stripe)

  • Preferences, dietary needs, scheduling

  • Photo/video likeness (per your consent in the Terms)

2.6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Everyday uses standard analytics tools (including cookies and similar technologies) to understand site performance, improve user experience, and secure our systems. We do not track users across third-party websites, and we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about you for advertising or profiling. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to operate, improve, and deliver Everyday’s services.

3.1. Advisor

  • Provide coaching, calls, transcripts, and resources

  • Deliver private libraries, recordings, templates

  • Manage scheduling, follow-ups, and support

  • Process payments and billing

3.2. Content

  • Draft, edit, revise, and deliver content

  • Manage creative workflows

  • Archive anonymized drafts for internal creative refinement

  • Provide final deliverables under license

3.3. Hospitality

  • Extract, clean, and reconcile raw data

  • Build tags, segments, enriched datasets, benchmarks

  • Deliver dashboards, insights, and reports

  • Maintain models and scoring systems

  • Improve predictive and comparative analytics across clients using only anonymized, aggregated data

3.4. Travel

  • Manage registration and attendance

  • Organize logistics, scheduling, and operations

  • Ensure safety, communication, and experience quality

  • Use photo/video assets per your consent for recap, promotion, or internal use

3.5. General Uses

Across all business lines, we may also use data to:

  • Administer accounts

  • Communicate with you

  • Prevent fraud or misuse

  • Improve our services

  • Comply with law

  • Maintain records

  • Secure our systems

4. Our Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR/ICPA)

We process your data under the following bases:

  • Consent — when you sign up for newsletters or events

  • Contractual necessity — when you engage Advisor, Hospitality, Travel, or Content services

  • Legitimate interest — for security, analytics, support, and product improvement

  • Compliance with law — responding to subpoenas or government requests

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share data with advertisers.

We do not provide access to third-party hospitality vendors.

We only share data with service providers that enable Everyday to operate its products:

Data Processors

Everyday uses the following data processors with respect to the personal information collected:

  • MemberPress: MemberPress manages Everyday’s Forum and all related data, including user-created content. MemberPress Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe: Stripe manages all payment processing and subscription management. Your credit card payment details are managed by Stripe and not released to Everyday except the date and amount of each payment, the last four digits of your credit card, expiration date, and zip code. 3rd-Party Service Providers

In addition, Everyday uses the following 3rd-party service providers for certain content served on everydayco.us. By using Everyday you are accessing these services. Everyday does not provide or receive any personal information to or from these services.

In addition, by using everydayco.us you are accessing Stripe, but Everyday does not provide or receive any personal information to or from these services unless you are a subscriber.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

  • Advisor / Content: for the duration of your contract + reasonable legal period

  • Hospitality raw data: deleted upon request or termination

  • Hospitality derived data: retained only in anonymized, aggregated form

  • Travel: retained for operational, legal, and safety purposes

  • Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe

  • Legal obligations: as required by tax, regulatory, or compliance rules

7. Protecting Your Data

We implement industry-standard technical, administrative, and organizational measures including:

  • Encrypted storage

  • Secure servers

  • Access controls

  • Limited internal access

  • Regular audits

No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

8. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Everyday is based in the United States and may process data in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using our services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Where required, we implement safeguards consistent with applicable law, including Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/EEA personal data.

9. Children’s Privacy

Everyday does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, do not use our services or submit any personal information to us.

If we learn that we have collected information from a minor without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

If you believe a minor has provided data to us, please contact hello@everydayco.us.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access – request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction – request corrections to inaccurate information.
  • Right to Deletion (“Right to be Forgotten”) – request deletion of your data.
  • Right to Restrict Processing – limit certain uses of your data.
  • Right to Object – object to specific processing activities, including marketing.
  • Right to Portability – request a machine-readable copy of your data.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent – where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@everydayco.us or write to the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing violates applicable law.

11. Non-Discrimination

Everyday will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service solely because you exercise your privacy rights. However, some services require basic information (such as an email address) in order to function, and we may be unable to provide those services without that information.

12. Changes To This Policy

Everyday may update this privacy policy by posting a new version on this website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are familiar with any changes.

13. Other Websites

Everyday’s websites, newsletters, podcasts, dashboards, Advisor, Content, Hospitality, and Travel services may contain links to third-party websites or embedded media. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of those third parties, including any tracking technologies they use. You should review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
